Products used:

  • Together, Inseparable, Laughing (Lurid Lacquer)
  • Muy Rápido QDTC (Uno Mas Colors)
  • Fledgling, Starling, Idiot (Sturnus vulgaris)

What kind of bird is this? Northern San Diego County, California, USA.

I was outside grilling some meat when this small round bird landed on my chair (thank God I didn't sit on him.) I thought he was unable fly until I approached and he jumped and landed on my shoulder. I walked by to the nearest tree and he flew by himself to reach the top of the tree. I am assuming he simply went home.

Indigo Bunting Death Stare

Went looking for a Lazuli Bunting that was in my area (it is a rarity). Never found it, but I did at least get this angry Indigo Bunting as a consolation prize.

Baby Cardinal Outside My Window

I could cry omg, mom and dad are being fantastic parents and keeping an eye on both the baby and also me taking these pictures. I've been watching the lovely couple the past few weeks wondering where their nest is, I'm so glad I got to meet their baby.
