Chase Changed My Name And Can't Change It Back
In March I replaced my CSR after a fraud alert. Ever since then, my Chase Travel Profile name reads ALEXANDER instead of Alex. There's no way to edit your name on your default travel profile - so I can't change it back myself. Certain non-Travel emails are also now addressed to ALEXANDER. My card and all other details correctly say Alex.
The first person I spoke to told me to fill out a name change report, which only changed the name on my account (which never needed to be changed in the first place). This didn't change the travel profile at all.
I'm now getting bounced back and forth between Chase card services and Chase travel support. Both sides say they can't help.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? It's ridiculous to have a travel credit card that changed my name, and allegedly has no way to change it back. Of course I can make a separate Travel Center profile with my correct name, but this seems like a much larger security issue than just an annoying step to correct whenever I book a trip.
