I was diagnosed at 13 with 40° lumbar scoliosis and 20° thoracic scoliosis. Since then, I’ve been consistently using a Rigo-Chêneau brace and doing Schroth therapy. I’m very grateful to my orthopedic doctor and physiotherapist (she is also a SOSORT member).

In about 6 months, I improved by around 6°. Now I’m 14 years old, 178 cm tall, with 34° lumbar and 20° thoracic.

For people who had a similar case: how did your curve change until around age 19?

Also, just as a general guess based on experiences (not medical advice), do you think I could still achieve a very good improvement by then, or is stabilization more likely after growth ends?
