Well… I’m a convert
I’ve been wanting to buy a pair of Razorbacks for about a few years, ever since I heard of Jim Green. I once bought some Vellies, but had to sadly return them because my feet were too wide (shoutout to Jim Green for the super easy return policy).
I was on eBay and found a pair of almost-new fudge Razorbacks in my Brannock size (sz 8) for less than $100, so I jumped the gun and purchased them. I put them on and they were immediately perfect for my very wide feet!!! I don’t think I had a boot that fit my feet as perfect as these, especially considering I have a small collection of boots from Red Wings to Mason Westerns. For added protection, I added a couple of layers of dubbin, which IMO makes the boot look way better.
Anyway, I’m beyond happy with these boots, especially since this is my 3rd time wearing them. I’m excited to try them whenever I go hike or visit my family’s home village (it’s inside a volcanic crater and the incline is steep wherever you go).
For anyone with very wide feet like me, I can’t recommend Jim Green enough. I’m definitely gonna consider getting a custom pair with a different color and sole, or maybe even the RAT in the JG last. Consider me a Jim Green convert!!!
