Swifties doubting that Taylor and Travis will be married at Madison Square Garden
First, they said Taylor would show up one day with an engagement ring. There would be no fanfare. Taylor then announces on IG and uploads high quality pics that she hired a professional photographer to take. She then goes on a "hey, I know I never said this before, but did you know the guy who proposed to me is the love of my life? Please ignore TTPD" tour on various talk shows and radio shows. This was after she spent all of 2024 signalling to Matty and Joe at the Eras tour.
Then, they said the wedding would be small and intimate. We would have no idea when it would happen. She would just show up married. Now we know that numerous celebrities have been invited and the wedding will happen before the NFL season starts.
Now, there is information coming out that Taylor and Travis will marry in MSG, and Swifties are claiming it's untrue. How do they know this? Because Taylor wouldn't do that. These people still don't know who Taylor is because they can't open their eyes. This is a lady who calls paparazzi when she goes out to dinner. She loves attention. She loves to monetize her personal life.
Taylor Swift isn't Zendaya or Dua Lipa. Taylor wants the world to watch her big moments, because that becomes part of the "Lore^(tm)", and she can use the "Lore^(tm") to make not so vague references like she did with Gyllenhaal's scarf and Matty's typewriter. She's always been someone who loved using publicly available information and then denying plausibility ("the song could be about anyone" while MAPLE LATTES is spelled out in her linear notes and googling those words would bring up her date with Jake.)
Is it possible her team is putting out false information and that she won't be married at MSG? It is. Would I be shocked if she in fact held her wedding at such a large venue and sold tickets and merchandise? I would not be shocked in the least. I wouldn't be shocked if she filmed the wedding for a documentary. It sounds like a Taylor move.
