Adele’s recent album from 2021 tops the list & that’s the only one she’s released since 2019
Billie has 2/3 studio albums on the list from 2021 & 2024
Beyoncé has 1 album from 2022 but she’s only released 2 albums since 2019
Ariana has 4 albums. These are all the 4 albums she’s released in the past 7 years with one of her albums as the oldest one
Taylor has 2/6 albums not even including the trash versions. She’s put out 6 albums in the past 7 years. With the trash version, that’s 10 albums! 2/10!

Did Taylor Swift file for the Showgirl Trademark again despite getting rejected the first time?
It appears that Taylor Swift and her team initially filed for the Showgirl trademark in October-ish of 2025 and was rejected by the USPTO office based on the decision that it would cause confusion with Maren Flagg's mark. Then Taylor Swift and her team suspended her application earlier this year around March 2026.
However, despite being rejected Taylor Swift and her team appeared to apply for the Showgirl mark again and was rejected again, the second time being in Sept 2026, based on the same following factors:
It was too similar to Maren Flagg's mark
And
That it would cause confusion among consumers and create unnecessary brand confusion.

In my opinion, it comes across as pushy, greedy, and disrespectful to me and I believe that Taylor Swift does not respect other artists' rights to their creative art and property. I think she not only blocks other artists on the charts, but she also appeared to help Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds while they tried to steal a movie out from the Wayfarer Party as evidenced by court-released text messages and witness testimony.
I believe Taylor Swift is being disrespectful towards Maren Flagg's trademarks by not applying once, but twice for her mark.
The document enclosed shows the USPTO office addressing this by stating that she applied twice and was denied twice, with the most recent denial occurring in Sept of 2026 right around when she released more songs from the Showgirl album - the Encore songs.
Here is the most interesting part. Many of us in this sub had been actively addressing the idea that Taylor makes most of her money off of her music and financial investments, whereas other artists branch out into other areas such as fragrances.
Well, it looks like somebody took that idea back to Taylor Swift's team as in the second application they included fragrances as part of the "The Life Of A Showgirl" mark. Isn't that funny?
Another part of this notice that I found hilarious is that the USPTO office stated that they need to be more specific in what they are going to utilise the mark for and can't just say for "entertainment" purposes. The office said in their notice to at the very least put "musical entertainment" and not just "entertainment" in their application.
How greedy can they be? I also see they applied for Showgirl bracelets and jewelery making kits.
Does anybody else find it exhausting and hypocritical and downright greedy that Taylor Swift and/or her team go after small businesses or hobbyists for trademark infringement and yet Taylor just blatantly disrespected Maren Flagg's mark?
She even released more songs under the Showgirl umbrella around the same time she was being denied by the trademark office not once, but twice!
This is very blatant and hypocritical and shocking that Taylor Swift seems to expect everyone in the world to respect her art and brand while she openly and flangrantly crosses boundaries with other artists' art/brand/property.
I suspect that Taylor Swift will eventually have to settle this case before it reaches trial as I very much doubt she will want to sit in a deposition or go to trial.
In my eyes, this makes her look terrible.
