26M Looking For Some Friends Online
I am a 26 year old male. As for my interests it mostly revolves around what I'm in the mood for. I enjoy reading, drawing, gaming, anime, movies, music, walks, crochet, pretty much whatever peaks my interest I attempt to get into.
For books, I'm currently in the middle of A Clash of Kings. If you aren't familiar it is book 2 in the Song of Ice and Fire series aka Game of Thrones. I have never seen the show, but based on book 1 and the first half or so I have gotten through of book 2 I can see why the show became all the rage.
For drawing, I'm pretty bad at it but my most recent drawing is a horrible Green Goblin (Spiderman villain). The proportions are wack, the perspective is different for different parts making it look very awkward. I do often wish I could like go live in a hobbit hole for like 6 months and not worry about food, bills, etc. and can just learn how to draw better.
For gaming, my favorite is WoW, but I play other shit. I enjoy Pokemon and am looking forward to Gen 10. Play friend slop games like How to Fish. I like RPGs like Baldurs Gate and Divinity Original Sin. Diablo is pretty fun too.
What anime am I watching, I feel like this current season that just started is fairly weak. However, I am not caught up on and watch Bleach Thousand Year Blood War and Dr. Stone.
When it comes to movies I must admit 2026 was quite a good year. Had The Odyssey, Project Hail Mary, and Spiderman. I'm looking forward to Clayface later this month. Very excited to see a superhero or in this case a villain in more of a horror movie esque role. I'm excited for Clayface for 2 reasons. First iconic set of episodes in BTAS so if they adapt a similar story to the big screen for audiences unfamiliar with Clayface's story it would be phenomenal. The second being, if this is successful hopefully it influences future comic adaptations to be more willing to take on not necessarily A-list characters and do genres outside of the classic comic hero movie genre. I much rather see someone passionate about a B or even C-lister character make an inspired movie about said character than have another retelling of stories audiences have seen before with characters that are well known. Don't get me wrong, I still want the Batman and Spiderman movies, just I don't want only the heavy hitters. It does feel like we are moving slightly away from that with The Thunderbolts and now Clayface, but I would like to see even more of that. Of course I will also see Avengers Doomsday because I see all the comic book movies.
For music I can send my last few years of Spotify Wrapped if you'd like. It ebbs and flows and I like different stuff at different times, though I must admit I am embarrassed at some of the stuff I used to listen too.
Walking is fairly self explanatory. I guess I will add I enjoy it more if it's in nature like a walk in the woods or something. It's peaceful.
For crochet it's mostly amigurumis which is just small little creatures and characters. I have done a dinosaur and a cat.
I look forward to our potential friendship. I should note, that I want people in the age range of 23-40.
