I have a mild obsession with a worldbuilding project I've been doing for 7 years now - I will absolutely rant about it, before realising it only makes sense in my head. It's kinda body-horror mixed with speculative biology. And technically a dragon. Because I'm simple.

It's all half baked on bits of scrap paper and sketchbooks but 90% of my brainpower is taken up by this thing and I don't think I know how to escape it (please help me).

I love drawing, and most recently I've decided to only drawing with a ballpoint pen. Honestly seen way more progress this way. And it's cheaper. Anatomy still confuses me. I have various drawings of biological structures and characters, and a world map with no place names because I can't commit to anything. It's mostly sketches so nothing grand or actually refined.

Currently listening to The Magnus Archives on YouTube, and that's going wonderfully - still fairly early into the episodes and trying so hard to keep up with names :') Analogue horror and all that funky stuff is cool too.

I play some games, currently Phasmophobia and The Forest (with my siblings because I'm just that cool), but I have Minecraft as well as a couple games in my steam library that my laptop will never dream of running. Open to new ones too, although I exist on lowest graphics because I play on an expensive potato with chronic health issues.

I love love love music, although I'd say I definitely lack good taste, but sharing music is lovely.

Had a breakup recently and honestly haven't been feeling great. Everything feels a bit off lately. I'm also planning to move to Europe in the future, so it'd be nice to meet people from there too.

Hello there. Like many out there, I'm also hoping to find a few people that I can click with and just befriend on a longer term, platonic basis. I'm your average full-time employee in the daytime and a bit of a goblin in my free time, choosing to enjoy things like games, chess, music and watching/learning random topics from books and YouTube in my free time.

I really don't do well with small talk, a "how are you" here and there followed up with "any plans" isn't really what I'm looking for. I get that sure, it's got to start somewhere but when it always ends up with "oh ok" rinse and repeat, that's just not for me. I don't expect anyone to be interesting all the time, I myself am quite boring to be honest and lead a plain life, I guess the point is if we don't click that's okay.

I'm currently really enjoying Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, and have a solid line of quality single player titles to go through from the ongoing Steam sale and on consoles. I do also play some multiplayer stuff, but as I've gotten older it just feels more and more like quality single-player titles returns more enjoyment. That said, I don't mind playing some multiplayer stuff if that's something we both happen to share.

If you also like stuff like horror (think Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame etc.) and historical timeframes like the Three Kingdoms/Sengoku era, play music (I play the piano, one of my longest standing hobbies), classical JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, and prefer having a few close connections rather than a superficial larger number, perhaps we'll mix well?

I have no greater agenda or demands than to hopefully run into a few people around my age that are just normal, average human beings looking for an online friend. No need to reply to me right away or anything, just whenever you can and want to, I understand we all have lives to attend to and it's not a big deal if you can't respond for a while. I'm more of a go with the flow and take things naturally kind of person, and when it comes to friendship I think it needs time to build, I won't be your best friend within 5 minutes.
