unplaced of 2026 batch, what should i do get a job offer.

I recently graduated and I’m still unplaced. Honestly feeling pretty lost right now.

I’ve worked on some AI/ML and development projects in areas like NLP, deep learning, and data science, but I still feel underprepared when it comes to interviews and getting actual opportunities.

I think I spent too much time learning different things without having a clear roadmap. Now I’m confused about what to prioritize to become employable as fast as possible.

People who were in a similar situation:

- What helped you get your first job off-campus?

- Should I focus mainly on DSA now or continue strengthening projects and development skills?

- Is AI/ML worth pursuing as a fresher right now, or should I shift toward backend/full stack first?

- How are freshers getting interview calls in this market?

I’m willing to put in the work. I just want practical direction from people who’ve already gone through this phase.
