An extremely annoying thing happened - I was lifting a heavy backpack out of my car and it must have hit my center panel in just the right spot to break the bracket that covers the shifter and e-brake in my 2024 Civic. Photo below. It has now popped up.

It appears that this is part #7 in the diagram here (circled in red - ignore 9).

  1. Does anyone have experience with replacing the part above? If so, could you rate difficulty level from 1 (easy) - 10 (hard)?
  2. To what extent does the replacement involve connecting and disconnecting complicated electronics?
