Ideas for childhood traditions and fun for my son
Hi!
I heard someone say parents are responsible for their child’s childhood memories, and I completely agree.
My son is 18 months and I want to give him the best childhood possible. My number one priority is having a peaceful, stable household which I feel like we are succeeding in. But I also want to have family traditions and fun on a weekly/monthly/yearly basis. So far, I don’t really have any aside from beach days on nice summer days. I feel like we kinda just all get home after work/daycare, eat dinner and go to bed.
I plan on doing Disney eventually. I want to start doing a weekly homemade pizza night. Maybe a yearly camping trip? Movie nights once a week?
Does anyone have any memories from their childhood that they are really fond of? Or anything that you do with your children now that stands out? Please share! I need some ideas!!!!
