Isn't wanting to escape suffering a form of aversion?
There cannot be an attitude of neutrality towards pain - because then there would be no drive towards enlightenment. Could this be that the path is driven by aversion towards pain and suffering? Wouldn't feeding aversion by acting out of it (following the path) only make it stronger thus strengthening greed, aversion and delusion?
