Just graduated highschool, so goodbye
I graduated highschool and now I'm going into college. I was on this sub a lot on my other reddit account, and on this a bit here. Anyways, goodbye

I'm 17 but just graduated today and turn 18 in about a month, would it be bad for me to date someone who is 20? Usually 17 and 20 is bad, but that's because most 17 year olds atm are juniors going into senior year rather than a senior going into college.
I can't believe us (class of 2026) is finally graduating, now me personally, I didn't have an elementary school one because mine went into 6th and no middleschool one because it was a middle/highschool, so this is my first graduation. Usually in the past 12-13 years of being at school, I'd feel relieved and excited that summer break is starting, but Senior year is different. Instead of feeling relieved, I feel nervous of starting this new chapter of my life that is finally unveiling, and instead of excited I feel bittersweet that this is this last glimpse of the life I've been experiencing for the last 12-13 years I'll ever experience. I've had ups and downs, bad years and good years, but I think at the end, every single period of time and every single year whether it was good or bad will have it's beauty and its curses. For this past year, I've been different compared to how I was the past 6 years from the pandemic, I've got out more, made more friends, meet new people, broken social barriers that I never ever broken before, and I just hope I can keep this energy in college, because in the inside, I'm still that shy and awkward 13 year old that I'm trying to fix. If there's one thing I could say to all of you who aren't graduating this year, don't rush to grow up and don't wish for it, because it will all go by quick. Up until a few months ago, I thought I had an infinity amount of time left until I turned 18, and now it's all finally starting to hit that it's finally happening. Anything that's it for now, Class of 2026 signing out.
