Curious how many people actually bother registering their dogs with council?

I do register mine, but honestly every time the notice comes around I question it. Between rego and rates, it feels like a lot for what seems like… not much in return.

I get the idea is things like lost pets, animal control, dog parks etc but do people actually feel like they’re getting value out of it?

Also wondering how common it is for people not to register. Is it one of those things most people skip unless they have to, or do most people stay on top of it?
