I made the WFD marble cake for a coworkers birthday 🙂 didn’t do the ermine frosting, but instead opted for the chocolate cream cheese frosting from DP. Everyone at my office loved the cake!
I would say it’s like a “box cake but better” flavour. Not overly sweet, but incredibly moist thanks to the mayonnaise. I would make this again for a birthday party easily because of how large it is and relatively simple to put together (no stacking cakes). Do be prepared to use all of your bowls though!!
