I’m posting this because several applicants seem to be confused regarding the B.Com merit list released by St. Xavier’s College Mumbai for 2026–27 admissions.

According to the official seat distribution available on the college website, around 88 seats are supposed to be allotted for the General – Other Boards category. However, even after the revised merit list, only around 66 seats appear to have been allocated.

What’s more concerning is that certain names reportedly appear more than once in the merit list (for example, “Aryann Ajay Khabra” appears twice), which further raises questions regarding the accuracy of the allocation process.

A few applicants, including myself, have already mailed the administration seeking clarification, but there has been no response yet.

This post is not intended to spread negativity against the college. I’m simply seeking transparency and clarification because the discrepancy directly affects students waiting for admission updates and possible movement in subsequent merit lists.

Has anyone else noticed this issue or received any clarification from the college administration?
