I'm thinking of switching careers and getting into trucking, probably OTR at first. The guy at the training school told me it's incredibly easy to find a job because everyone is always looking for drivers. He's obviously incentivized to tell me this, whether it's true or not, so I'll pay the tuition at his school. So I thought I'd ask you all. Is it true that truckers are in high demand? One thing I noticed when looking at job postings was that they always want someone with a few years of experience. Where do new truckers begin? Any suggestions for specific companies that I could work for based out of Kingston, Ontario, would be great. Thanks.
