An unmarried female friend needs an abortion, and the hospital requires an ABHA ID. She is worried the record could later become accessible to family members, insurers, etc.

Would this technically work?
ABHA 1 → abortion record gets linked → permanently delete ABHA 1 → create a new ABHA 2 later for normal/future healthcare.

Would ABHA 2 be completely separate from ABHA 1 and its records, or can the old records/linkages still be connected to her?

My friend was ~7 weeks pregnant. She took mifepristone on August 4, followed by misoprostol 200 mcg — 2 tablets under the tongue on Day 2 and 2 tablets on Day 3.

She initially had cramps and bleeding. On August 13, she had another episode of bleeding, and on August 15, she started having heavier bleeding in batches since the evening, along with back pain. She also passed a relatively large clot, approximately 3–4 cm in size.

Is this kind of bleeding normal during a medical abortion, or should we be concerned?
