Help with 2010 Lexus
To preface, I’m a stupid college student, who made a dumb purchase. I know I’m dumb.
I bought a nice looking Lexus as a private sale for 9k with a loan, and had a few friends come that were more mechanically inclined than me, and they said they found nothing wrong. Turns out, the rockers, brakes, and muffler hooks are gone, and the bumper’s not good either. I brought it by a mechanic who told me I was better off selling it now than spending the money to fix it, if I’m just selling it. I still have 8k on the loan, and I’d prefer if there was something I could do to get at least close to getting that back.
Any help is appreciated!
Edit: I have a primary vehicle, it's a Subaru, and it runs nice. I was a dumb student just getting into college on my own, and I wanted a brand new pretty car.
