Can solid progress be made with these kinds of Youtube fitness videos?
I'm trying to get back into improving my upper body strength and physique and have lately been following along to structured 30 minute dumbbell workouts like this.
I'm hoping to establish a more personalized and consistent routine, ideally at the gym, but I figure doing something is better than nothing until then. So I was curious if this kind of stuff was the equivalent of just treading water or if it holds genuine merit. Can you expect to see actual muscle growth and improvement over time with these kinds of workouts?
