Puzzled
I have a 5 year old female. She has a particular behavior and I was wondering if there were others and what your opinion is of why she does this.
She watches tv. No particular show or anything. She just sits a watches…. Until a dog appears on the screen. She immediately runs to find a ball, or toy bring it back and whine, growl and bark. Not in a mean aggressive way, more excited. My daughter thinks she’s telling the dog that it can’t have her ball, or that she thinks the dog is in our house and wants to play. I’m just not sure. She’s behaved this way all her life. She’s even done it when there is a cow, goat, sheep, anything that looks dogish. She doesn’t do it with cats.
I’m just curious what other Rotti owners think about this behavior.
