Would the Nikon d700 be a good upgrade on a budget??? Everywhere else is saying yes but I still gotta ask the people of Reddit!

Buckle up motherfuckers and get ready for this one, so recently I decided I was done with windows but still wanted to keep some apps and files so I set up my trusty Microsoft go 1 with a dual boot setup of Linux mint cinnamon and windows 10, worst decision even, so to do this I had to do a bunch of things with windows like shrinking it and decryption of it blah blah blah, I did of of that and it worked!!! AFTER 3 DAYS OF TRYING and you know what to give Microsoft credit it did work with dual booting FOR 20 MINUTES then decided to pull a nah sorry mate but there's not windows anymore... like on earth WHAT THE FAHHHH, so now I have a slightly corrupted Microsoft go one running Linux with a fucked of spiteful version of Microsoft in the background trying to stay hidden. But I need passwords back BC I'm stupid so I attempted to load back into the dual boot menu then into windows.... HOWEVER now windows was on its revenge ark and it was not fucking happy for no joke 3 hours of terminal coding and Googleing later I have nothing to show except for the fact that my computer is crashing and windows is still there in the background taking up half of my drive space and being a moody teenage that is completely unreachable... FUCKKK WHYYYYYYYY I've seen way to many lines of code tell me in wrong today. I really don't know what else to say other than thank you for your time 🥹.
