DXP4800 Plus died
Fixed - see comment below
My Father-in-law has a DXP4800 Plus he's been using for nearly a year and a half, and he tells me after a software update it has gone unresponsive. From the sounds of it, the internal system NVME has corrupted - he's removed the HDDs from the system and it will not boot, but does give power lights 9n the front panel and NICs have activity lights. He's wanting to just replace the unit, but I'm wanting to know a couple of things...
First, does anyone know of an IMG file of the NASync's internal NVME drive? I'd like to see if I can revive the system / OS as I don't think this is a hardware issue.
Second, what is the process of transplanting the drives from one unit and accepting the volumes into another?
