MPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect connected to a shooting on S. Cooper St. that left two people injured.

The suspect is described as a transgender woman with a thin build, approximately 5’1”, who goes by the name “Jewell.” She is known to frequent the area of Jefferson Ave. and Claybrook St.

Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH to submit an anonymous tip.
