Picking up Sax, after failing jazz.
Prices are absurd for everything these days. I'm writing this post to ask the people of this community where the line of diminishing returns begins.
About me.
I don't need anything exquisite but I'm in the market for something brass. My last saxophone was a generic Chinese brass sax from eBay purchased in 07 and sold in 2011. I caught alot of flack for running a cheap sax but my teacher always praised its tone however i got scrutinized so much that I never made the jazz band. I was dedicated for 4 years but after two years of being shut out of jazz band, my father proposed I sell it for my passion for a new snowboard and a guitar and I did just that. Although Im very experienced in guitar to this day, i have regretted it ever since, I love music that throws horns and sax in the mix. That being said, I'm not buying a Yamaha or anything bold given the price. However I did pick one up and muscle memory kicked in and I could still play some, but I have no idea what it was. How should I begin my search for a deal.
Thanks,
-Grem
