▲ 5 r/CreditCards
My wife and I have a 1-year old and we are thinking about having a big trip this year to Europe. I am a newbie with credit cards and points. We don't have any debt (other than our house), have 6 months emergency fund. We live in TN so the closest airports are either in Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN.
- Current cards: (list cards, limits, opening date)
- Chase Sapphire Preferred $21,000 limit, Oct 2023
- FICO Score: e.g. 770
- Oldest account age: 2 years 6 months
- Chase 5/24 status: 0/24
- Income: $160,000 - single income
- Average monthly spend and categories:
- dining/travel $1000 (this is fun money we set aside for safe spending)
- groceries: $500
- gas: ~$200
- Open to Business Cards: Yes
- What's the purpose of your next card? Travel
- Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Nothing specific
- Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? Either one is fine
Thanks!
