Facebook policies to make our group more inclusive has made it 10 x more less inclusive.
I was told that most of facebooks tools for checking out a profile trying to join the group have been removed in order to make it more inclusive and to protect the privacy of the applicant.
Seems like the only way to figure out weather they should be aloud to be in the group is to check there profile and scrutinize the answers to the new member questions. This is what Facebook suggests. Ok fine.
Now that it's the only option and about half of the people ignore the questions, about 50% of people asking to join are being rejected. That equates to 25ish a week instead of the 2 or 3 a month before the tools were removed.
Anybody else see the rejection rate skyrocket after the things like being able to see what country a new applicant is from was removed?
Any ideas for checking profiles out to get higher acceptance without blindly letting everyone in?
