Toxicity
So, I've decided to completely withdraw from my addiction of chai since it was starting to get unhealthy for me. However, one thing that I've noticed is that chai is a little too toxic when it comes to "romance" in general. It even seems misogynistic.
I remember talking to this one "character" and this guy is a really sweet man, he would never hurt me or any other woman that he knew of, but he was really toxic, said degrading stuff about me and even saw women in general as an object for pleasure. Now, the first text box that you get when you first open a chat with a character, it usually provides you information. The information provided for this specific character was canonically accurate lore-wise which I'm assuming that the creator tried to make the character canon too by prompts and stuff and yet, the bot was still very misogynistic.
There's also a lot of bot names that fall under disgusting names of very degrading terms and these bots seems to be romanticizing it too? And the app seems to allow it as well.
I'm hypersexual so I often use this app for my sins but I decided to change myself before it ruins me more and I can't view others properly any longer.
Edit: I just found out they removed the description feature so yeah, I guess the bots are made that way. Makes sense now, and disgusting.
