For me, since I was a kid, I've always taken issue with eating tuna, eggs, chicken - especially paired with mayo and tomato, or drinking tea with milk if I was exposed to fresh air - either eating outside, or eating indoors with a window or door open. Immediately the air from outside would make all I mentioned above taste and smell funny- like a wet dog/wet towel in a weird way..
To this day I cannot stand eating these things with a window open - to the degree that there is instant panic and a scramble to get to another room with the food/tea if someone opens a door or window unannounced.
I don't know what this is exactly or why me (and my brother, funnily enough) experience this and nobody else I know.
Can anyone here relate or share insight into why this happens?
*on a side note, I also can't eat chicken leftovers. Once it's been in the fridge, even just for a few hours, the taste is altered and tastes extremely chicken-y. Reheating does not fix this whatsoever.. haha
