Did you grow up wearing handed down clothes?

I suddenly started wondering if the rise of fast fashion and micro trends has killed off the giant garbage bag of clothes your older cousins outgrew and your aunt saved because she knew you’d grow into them.

I (GenX) certainly inherited hauls like that, and the ones from my cousins who were 10 and 6 years older had pure gold buried among the tops I couldn’t possibly imagine wearing.
