Hi, I have started to pin but I notice all of my pinning is happening on the left side and none on the right. Maybe I just need to be patient but thought I would ask around in case I may harm my overall yield.

My Grow Method:
My grow method this time was to reduce contamination as much as possible, I never wanted to have to touch anything until it started pinning.

I used an AIO grow bag and when my grain was colonized, I mixed it with the substrate as normal, then smashed it down flat to this horizontal position. Once I saw pinning, I cut the top of the bag off and placed it in a monotub where I can continue to mist it appropriately. I also have ensured the cake isn’t sitting in water due to the remaining bag sitting around it.

I know this method prob seems weird haha but I didn’t want to deal with agar plates and all of the contamination risks that come with. I also didn’t want to have to remove it entirely from the grow bag earlier as I have heard a fully colonized cake is harder to contaminate.
