Credit card benefits
Does anyone have a SW card and know what im doing wrong bc I see virtually no benefits (apart from some points) during my flying experience. I have a SW credit card. I think it’s the lowest/middle one. I got it in school because that’s when i started to travel a lot. I took 42 flights with south west in 2024. And 36 in 2025. I virtually, somehow, have zero status. One checked bag for free, and group 5 boarding (which seems like everyone in the world has). No early bird check in, or upgraded seat. I’ve called multiple times to ask how I can get more out of my card and they’ve told me “with the new system we’re learning” or “just upgrade to a higher card and see”. I am like surely, with the amount of money and miles I spend with SW, this can’t be right?
p.s. I am not extremely knowledgeable about credit cards and am learning. Please be nice.
