I[26yF] my bf mother doesn’t like me [25yM] and idk what to do…
I am [26, Female] and my bf is [25, Male]. His mother[43F] doesn’t like me at all. We’ve known each other since middle school (13-14) we got separated for a few years as his mother moved 4hrs away due to a National Guard job. Since they moved back in mid COVID we’ve been dating. We moved out in 2022 and his mother was not happy, she didn’t want me to help him move his things so I agreed and just stayed quiet. But I keep getting hurt in this relationship by his mom. Every time I try to get along with her, my efforts are in vain.. on my end I am always cut down. In the longevity of my life I want to be with him, but it’s hard to be with a man whose family doesn’t/ won’t accept me.. it’s not just his mother it’s his aunt as well, they literally bully me and talk crap about me and bringing children into a situation like that doesn’t sound good to me. I want to move forward with him but idk what to do. We separated in 2024 due to his mother and aunt previously saying harsh things about me. When I live with them(him, his mom, brother) I helped with dinner, yard work, birthdays, taking kids to and from camp/school, helped clean her vehicles, and paid 300 of rent on top of that…. To then be told no matter what I do as long as I’m not a white, female in my 40’s with a car I will never be good enough for her son… I can add screenshots of our messages for context…. HELP
