It's been over four years since I played this game.
So why do I think about it every single week, nearly every single day? Why do I forget most major AAA releases not even a month after I play them, yet Outer Wilds, an indie game, I cannot seem to forget?
I think it's cliche (and an understatement, really) to say that this game is superb or even a masterpiece. But to be a game that you can only play once, yet that will stick with you forever - that's the mark of a true work of art.
This is the greatest game I ever played and nothing will ever come close to that first experience. I wish I could relive 2022.
