Sweating and Ovulation (PCOS)

Hello!

I have never posted, so I’m sorry for too many details.

So last year I (F36) became pregnant (learned at 9 weeks), and miscarried at 12. Despite not knowing I was pregnant, I was and still don’t drink or do anything considered harmful to a pregnancy (other than perhaps a poor diet. I am 112lbs, live off mostly protein shakes/bars, but my blood work is always fine). The miscarriage was labeled “normal miscarriage” after everything came back from the lab.

We did some digging, and with my PCOS I do not ovulate “normally”, so the conception we did have was under a very small margin. My partner and I did noticed I was sweating MASSIVELY during the pregnancy, as well as during “ovulation” periods on medication. I mean, bed soaked, pillow soaked, my clothes soaked, smelling like vinegar. I need and epic shower every morning, it’s ridiculous haha. My doctor thought maybe it was perimenopause and then retrofitted that to say it was hormones.

My OB put me on Letrozole and we did the blood work for a few months to find I can in fact ovulate on medication. However, we have been trying on the medication and currently no luck.

My partner did his end, and his sperm count is good. I also did a test to make sure my tubes were open and both viable, and that too came out fine.

Two months ago, I missed my period and had several positive pregnancy tests AS WELL AS NEGATIVE tests so I again went to my OB. They did blood work and I was pregnant, but the following day I started my period and it was declared a Chemical Pregnancy.

Now I’m back on our routine with my period pushed out a full week permanently (so strange), and sweating a crap ton again. My body is so out of whack that it’s hard for my doctors to give me more guidance.

Has anyone with PCOS (or not) ended up sweating like an insane amount when they are actually ovulating? I might add that I am EXHAUSTED as well, more than any regular “ovulation” period which for me might mean there are times I AM ovulating, but I never hit a peak.

I do home ovulation test, and get my blood drawn, but the window is so short for me that I get just a yes or no too late.

Has anyone else gone through this? It just seems like it’s a whole lot of “if” and “possible” factors.

My only theory is that I randomly ovulate “non peak” without medication, and with medication I vary IF I get to “high peak”, but still do ovulate each time. They did increase my Letrozole once already if that helps.

Sorry if that doesn’t make much sense, but I’ve been trying to get any answers I can and keep ending up at road blocks.

Also, I know I’m on the older side, and my partner is 41, so we got into the game late. Both our parents are in their late 70’s, so we do truly want to bring a little one into the world before they pass if possible so I’m hit with a ton of anxiety about this every month now, like the clock is ticking louder and louder. Going bananas.
