*grocery items? Idk how to put it but basically anything which has a fixed expiry date which isnt fresh fruit or veggies.

What happens to the packaged foods like chips, chocolates etc which are near expiry or expired? And also to the shampoos and other toiletries which are in the same condition?

Is there any specific market where we can get near expiry or expired items for cheap, or do these get relabelled to a later date or get repurposed into something else? (Like near-expiry chicken nuggets fried up and sold as sandwiches etc)

I have come across markets in Saudi where they sell near-expiry or expired foodstuff and toiletries for very cheap. Is this a thing in nammude naad?
