Probably an attempt to taste like sourdough. Swing and a miss. Also, very dense and poorly pre-split.

I know laser cutters don't work for cutting extruded polystyrene, and so I am getting a hot wire table for that. But - for freehand cutting, I need to get the precise outlines onto the XPS foam first. I was thinking about using my diode laser for that, at a super low power setting, basically a light etching operation. Anyone have any experience with this?
