Hello! My friend is in need of help for looking for a movie! It is a horror film and she cannot remember what it is called, and no snippets or screenshots of the movie can be found anywhere online. She went to TikTok and made a post which seemed to have gained traction but she cannot seem to get a definitive answer. Here is what she posted:
It is about a group of friends who end up in the woods. I remember their car breaking down. Once they enter the woods they come across an empty cabin. Eventually they start trying to leave the woods and they keep walking in circles. They pass the same tree and bushes and then the cabin comes back into view. The friends start dying as they are in the woods and no one knows what’s killing them. I remember that there were different timelines of themselves in the woods. Every time they would die, it would start again of them entering the woods. The end of the movie was once again the same loop of the friends entering the woods never to escape. The main character guy remembered the loop. He tried to warn his friends who didn’t believe him. The alternate versions of them all existed at the same time.
We are thankfully able to rule out some movies such as the newer Blair Witch Project, Mine Games, Lake Artifact, Until Dawn, Wrong Turn, The Ritual, Cabin in the Woods, Enter Nowhere, The Axiom, Caddo Lake, No Exit, Shrooms, and Final Girls.
We are still on a search, and while some films ring a bell, none seem to be it so far. I figured this would be the best place to go and see if we can get anything. We could still potentially have House Hunting as the movie, but even then OP isnt 100% positive. Thank you all in advance!
TLDR: My friend is looking for a horror movie about a group of friends who go into the woods and finds a cabin, gets stuck in a time loop, slowly gets unalived. She asked TikTok, went semi viral, and cant get a straight answer so we need your help looking for this piece of media!
