Does this framework feel accurate? Where do most teams sit?
My team recently surveyed 200 retail supply chain leaders about major network / capital decisions.
A lot of responses pointed to the same issue: teams can either model the whole network simplistically, or model one part of it properly in operational detail. Not many feel they can really do both together.
Probably explains why big changes so often create problems somewhere else after implementation.
Interested in whether this feels accurate to people here, or if this framework is overstating it / missing something obvious?
Particularly interested in views from people who’ve been through automation, consolidation, or redesign programmes recently.
Thanks 🙏
