Has anyone experience improver vision after neurofeedback therapy?
I am 11 sessions into my first experience with neurofeedback therapy.
Today, while looking out my window, I noticed that some signs across the street that are usually quite blurry seemed easier to see. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with neurofeedback therapy. The only other changes I've made recently are being more consistent with doing massage techniques around my head and upper body to release muscles that cause tension headaches.
I have been mildly nearsighted since 2020 (have a prescription for glasses I never bought and contacts I only use when I want to enjoy the outdoors in HD). About 6 months prior to starting I was also diagnosed with minor binocular vision issues and was prescribed glasses for desk work because I'm very prone to tension headaches while working at a computer.
I started neurofeedback therapy for ADHD and also was hoping for any other general benefits I could get as someone with a long history of fatigue and brainfog from chronic illness.
Google suggests vision can be improved with neurofeedback, but I'm wondering if there are certain types of protocols targetted towards that, or if it's normal for people to see this kind of improvement with any protocols used.
