Receiver humming
This is an update to my last post. I plugged it in despite the crooked terminals and it works fine.
However I notice when idled it makes a slight humming sound. I believe this happened only while it was plugged into other things. What could be causing this? Is it safe?
The video attached is a sample of the humming. You can hear it when you ignore the fuzz of my room.

What do I need for a cd setup?
Recently I have acquired some cds for a band I’ve been obsessed with and I haven’t a way to play them (besides my car)
I haven’t been researching cd setups and have found some second hand vintage items. I haven’t found a cd player, receiver, and some bookshelf speakers.
My question is, are there any others things that I need? I’m worried there may be some niche accessories I absolutely need.
And in general any advice would be useful. Thank you!
