Ive been a rhythm guitarist all my life, first time trying leads, how is it

This video might not show the exact notes being touched or picked as they sound as the video and audio are recorded differently, audio was recorded in ableton, straight di input of guitar, so dont think its some fakeass bs lol..

Ive been aware of music theory, scales, and anything composition/ production related, just my hand is not that skilled with leads, cause some people might think iam lying, i play all the fkin barre chords and every infamous, niche chord not only typical major minor chords, i know how the fretboard works, its just leading is something i was not that much into….

Tho rate it

Help me, iam losing my mind.

NOISE! My problem is this noise.

Circuit-:

Telecaster - fender cable - arturia minifuse1 - asus tuf f 15 - asus laptop charger - wall socket.

In the laptop-:

Ableton live 12 - minifuse asio drivers - audio track - insert on.

Chain-:
Minifuse gain knob= 0 (as low as possible)
Ableton tuner -
pro q 4 ( for eqing this noise, fails!) -
Ableton gate-
Neural dsp corry wong x archetype ( amp plugin) -
Pro q 4 for equing the tone -
Chorus dimension d ( for wide chorus) -
Delay-
Pan -
Reverb.

NOW!

As you can see in the video the type of noise iam getting, ranging from 1k to 20k frequencies, you can hear it when i put the headphones closer to my phone’s mic.

This noise goes down when i touch the guitar metals, steels, the strings, the bridge, etc. Dosent goes completely silent but the noise gets low significantly

Realised, the noise is coming 80-90 percent from the charger, if i pull the charger out, noise gets “removed”, if i plug the charger in, or even touch the charger to the charging jack, noise comes in like a wall of rhythm rock guitars.

Thought charger’s brick is causing the noise, so i turned the wall switch off, while the charger is all plugged in ( meaning no electricity flowing thru the charger for it to make the noise) you can see it in the video

Yetttt, the noise is same, conclusion? The noise is mixed in the electricity flowing in my house cables and the charger is probably innocent

I live in a tower apartment, so alot of people’s houses are connected on the same power grid, maybe thats causing the noise,

I tried a usb isolator like i defender plus between my laptop connection and minifuse 1 audio interface,
Injected power into it from a powerbank, still nothing solved the noise remains the same

At this point i cant even understand what i can do to solve this, they say get a passive di box with ground lift yet a passive pickup telecaster and a passive di box will cause a “ tone suck” they say, chat gpt made me waste money on that usb isolator that failed too

Idk how and at this point what i can use what i can add to get rid of this noise and just get a clean tele, what should be my next move that will actually solve this..

Please help, this is a problem faced by i guess alot of guitarists who come to reddit looking for fix, be the hope for them and me too, please flex some knowledge here if you have🙏✨

Clear my confusions, this is making me doubt astrology..

You can see how bad my mars is, its debilitating at 28th degree, as per the internet its the worst degree to be in for mars in cancer then its also combusted by sun and is sitting in a malefic house too… like whats left to go wrong for my mars here?

Yet, now i saw astrologers saying if mars is bad, you wont have real friends, stuff like that,

I have good friends, they help me moneywise and otherwise

I have always been either 1st or 2nd in my school marathons

Body Built is good, too fearless, tho i dont pickup wrong fights still.

Too straightforward, i hit the gym, good diet knowledge

No self confidence issues, yeah shyness is relative
But iam not a guy who cant open his mouth around people, mostly iam the guy whos the main person in the room, no brags, only mentioning

Can talk to women with a very straightforward flirting

And alot of things they say a bad mars gives

YeS, i do got like consistency issues discipline issues too, if iam working iam doing it for the whole day no food- no water or just not doing it somedays,

I dont understand all this while having a mars that bad

Plus all this made me think how would my mars mahadasha be like?

Intonation masters, help!

I got a very good intonation here, -3 to +5 cent difference around all the frets, did a little offset tuning (-2 to -3) on mostly all the strings, it sounds good now, its a new tele.

I was a little worried about the low E saddle screw spring, it looks heavily compressed, is it healthy? Ive been an acoustic player all my life, its my first tele, are the saddles and their screws and springs healthy? Or iam in danger???

Telecaster electric noise around 5k and above htz.

I got a affinity tele 2 days ago, and it has a noise floor i cant ignore.

the circuit is:

Squier Telecaster affinity

Fender contour cable ( instrument cable)

Arturia minifuse 2 ( audio interface)

Asus tuf laptop with ableton

Gain as low as i could set while still getting some signal in

  1. Now, if my tele is kept on the bed, idol it has that noise floor
  2. if i pick my tele up, hold it and hold the strings on the fretboard, the noise completely goes away, as long as the strings are touched, noise is gone
  3. now i checked that laptop charger plugged in gives alot of noise, so i removed the charger, noise was gone on an idle guitar, but as soon as i strummed it and left the strings ringing, the noise came with them.. ( touching the strings also removed the laptop plugged in noise, touching the strings has been the ultimate fix)

Now i talked to chat gpt it said do some shielding, some other ai said shielding wont help and some other ai said just stick a wire to the guitar’s metal area and stick the other part to your body somewhere

What would be the fix tho? How can i achieve that “string touched” silence? Even without touching them.

Is shielding the fix for me?

Cory wong output volume gradually decreases while nothing is tweaked.

I’m having a really strange issue with
Archetype: Cory Wong in Ableton Live and can’t figure out what’s causing it.

Signal chain:
Ample Guitar Telecaster (DI)→ Archetype: Cory Wong

Preset: the clean

Everything starts off working perfectly, The tone and volume are exactly as expected.

However, over the course of about 10–15 minutes, the output volume from Cory Wong gradually gets lower and lower. It’s not an instant drop—it slowly fades over time.

Here are the weird parts:

The Input meter inside Cory Wong stays at the same level as when I first opened the project, But the Output meter inside Cory Wong gradually gets lower, While The Input and Output control knobs are both still at 0.0** **dB.

None of the knobs, pedals, switches, or settings change.

There is no automation.

The tuner is off.

I’ve also tried:

Deleting Cory Wong and inserting a new instance ,doesn’t fix it.

Creating a completely new MIDI track with a fresh Ample Guitar Telecaster instance and a fresh Cory Wong instance, still** quiet.**

Bypassing Cory Wong, the dry Ample Guitar DI immediately returns to its normal loud volume.

Enabling Cory Wong again, the volume is low again. So its maybe a cory wong issue only rather than the daw or ample guitar plugin.

The only thing that fixes it is:

Close Ableton completely.

Reopen Ableton.

Load a fresh project/instances.

Then the volume is back to normal… until it gradually drops again after another 10–15 minutes.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a known Cory Wong bug, an Ableton issue, or something else? Any ideas on what could cause the plugin’s output to slowly attenuate while the input remains unchanged?
Thanks in advance!
