I’m used to getting balayage, but I’m switching it up since cutting my hair short and letting my (imo) “seasoned” friend who has done almost every color under the sun to her hair, do mine. I told the stylist who cut my hair and she made me nervous saying that I should do semi permanent dye so that I don’t have hard lines or have to do a color correction later. I feel as if I would have to do one anyway and hoping that since my hair is somewhat dark already, it might blend well (for the dark brown at least, when the blonde grows out it’ll be brown as well)

Thoughts? Preferably from seasoned DIY people who occasionally go to the salon or the stylists who deal with them 😅
