Hi...
I mailed my NJ tax return this year because I had an incorrect 1099 which wasn't corrected. In my packet I included statement explaining why this 1099 was incorrect.
I followed a guide on mailing your tax return that advised recommended including a per-addressed & stamped return envelope and a letter asking for confirmation that they received my tax return.
... well what I got back was a portion of my tax return. As in... the person who opened the mail mailed me back part of my tax return & no confirmation. Meaning that now they have an incomplete tax return at the NJ Division of Taxation.
I'm kind of at a loss of what to do. I could use some advise on this one.
