LCT G3 gearbox help
I’ve been trying to get my G3’s gearbox working properly for days now but whatever I try nothing seems to work. So far
1- new quick change gearbox shell (spare double bell) wouldn’t line up with the lower receiver’s alignment pin holes so back to stock shell (non quick change)
2- spring and nozzle cycle to the compressed position after each shot. They both cycle fine but I’d like to fix that
3- selector plate and selector won’t line up, full and semi auto work fine but it fires full auto on safe. It looks like the safety isn’t able to move the selector plate forwards far enough to engage or the part inside the gearbox isn’t blocking the trigger from moving
4- I want to install a mosfet in the hopes that gaining active braking and pre cocking may solve point 2 but I’ve seen people say the the G3’s selector plate shape messes with compatibility
5- Does anybody know a V2 gearbox mosfet that works in LCT’s G3? Preferably a drop in one as I don’t feel like spending yet more money on soldering equipment
