hey all as title says im looking for eye pro recommendations(i wear glasses daily) unfortunately i cant get contacts to work already tried for over 5 months so need something which may work well either inserts or one that can sit over my glasses with minimal fog as its the reason i stopped playing last year thanks for any suggestions.
Almost completely stock, using a cheap Hawke 3-9x on a riser, 0.43s at about 360fps.
I was really happy with the accuracy; my first shot of the day was a headshot, and I got a lot of precision kills. Plenty of targets I wouldn't usually have hit cleanly (normally run MWS) but this thing was bang on.
I particularly like how portable and pointable this thing is. I don't want to "snipe" as such, I want to be sneaking forward and hitting the flanks. It was ideal for this, I loved being light and mobile. There were points where I was taking up forward positions and maneuvering around cover with no trouble at all.
Negatives were the line popping out, and I would like a little more consistency, I had rounds veering slightly off target. Wasn't a big deal at the ranges I fought at but I think it'd be frustrating if you're really trying to reach out and touch people.
Next steps are camo and maybe a slimmer HPA tank. But very chuffed!
Hello, Its my bfs bday coming up and he’s recently getting into air soft, he has got a helmet that has a bit on the front for a camera/GoPro so I would like to buy him one to record his sessions.
I have no idea what go pro/ camera or mount it would need to fit into the helmet, I also would like it to be affordable, and to make sure it’s going to fit and be the right one. Can anyone help me find the right one? Ive attached a picture of the helmet.
I’ve got an M4 that I’m looking to turn into a DMR and part of that conversion is buying a new handguard and stock, which on my rifle are two tone, so do I also have to spray the new parts in two tone aswell since I don’t have a UKARA? Maybe a stupid question but I appreciate any help, thanks!
Im a beginner (like i dont have knowledge abt airsoft) and bought this airsoft. im currently stuck with using this since whenever im racking it always stuck even with load or unloaded.
I’ve been told I have to two tone my gun for the first three games and then i can get a license that allows me to use all black rifles. But I’m looking for a starter one just to get me into the games. Any suggestions? I don’t have a ton of money, so I’m looking for anything up to around £75
Fielded this for the first time today, great gun. It’s extremely accurate, I can get up to about 50 meters however that’s the max, I’ve seen people claim they can reach up to 70 meters on a flat flight, what upgrades to people make to achieve this?
The mags do really hold this gun back, a 75 round AEG mag for £15 is a joke when you can get M4 mags with a capacity of 225 rounds for £30
Please rate my kit out of 10 honestly and how I can improve.
I just do skirmishes no milsim or speedsoft
Are they worth it? Or just run irons and save some money? Mostly play outdoor woodlands and kind of new to the hobby.
So as the title says, my gun doesn’t even beep anymore when I plug in battery, battery was disconnected and haven’t touch for about a month. I have a specna arms flex serial number F063758 attached is a pic of the charger showing it’s fully charged? But I’m hoping it’s just a dead battery? Please please help me I’ve not touched it
Thinking of getting this for my first actual good gun for indoor and outdoor Airsoft
Picked up this from my regular site on Thursday as a treat and it has brought me so much joy so far. I've always had a soft spot for traps especially the claymore.
Fits nicely in my dump pouch as well and the detonator clips to my belt making me an objective room menace 😊
(Flair is confusing I suppose buttt I consider this as gear/equipment)
I want a good shooting SMG with really good range and accuracy i have £300 I have been thinking about getting either one of these any recommendations
Another day, another paintjob. Long story short my younger brother had a luminous green SSG10 that needed sorting out.. as you can see from the first photo he would definitely be rather easy to spot! At the last gameday we went to the opposition were even saying that he was given away by the rifle's bright colour. Somehow I don't think that's going to be as big a problem now.
The reason the barrel/receiver is all that was painted is because he asked me not to paint the stock since it's that Novritsch rubberised stuff. Personally I think he should just let me tape and paint it but he's adamant he's getting a rifle wrap for it at some point.
Anyway.. onto what I did. I used scapa tape as a base layer and put it on in strips, tried to crease it here and there to add texture. Other than the disassembly, that is what took most of the time really, then I masked off the parts I wanted to make sure no paint got into. I didn't bother to prepare the non-tape surfaces (mainly out of laziness) so I expect the paint may lift there but I did at least hit it with primer.
For painting I applied a DDR green coat as a base layer, then I used some scarf/netty material to get the grid effect seen and I cut a fern/bush in my garden for some spots, though I feel like they didn't really translate into much patterning on the end product. Still, 6 different paints used and I think it doesn't look all that bad for about an hour of painting's work.
The piece in the receiver covering the cylinder is some polyproplyene/plasticy material that is 0.3mm thick cut to fill the receiver and leave a space for the stopper/sear. I painted this separately outside of the gun and left it to dry in the sun, as otherwise it would be only the slot you see painted and if it shifts when the bolt is cycling you would just see the white colour of the material. My idea with it is you can paint it, so it looks cool but also it removes a big slot for crap to get into your cylinder. I have seen some people 3D print covers but this works quite well for me. You have a lot of margin inside the receiver so the thickness doesn't /need/ to be 0.3mm but you might as well get that, especially if you do a carbon cylinder guide mod, since that's the thickness of material you'll want for that job and it is pretty cheap. I got like 10 A4 sheets off amazon for £5-10.
My thoughts are painting the scapa is definitely faster work than painting onto a plastic/metal surface. I feel like you can get away with being more heavy handed as it doesn't run on the tape, just saturates it. For my next paintjob I might merge this scapa based process with some stencils to see what that looks like but I think that's for another weekend.

I did a full writeup for a flecktarn camo job I did on my M4 with stencils, it has much more detail on the process used, though that was a completely different process over here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Airsoft_UK/comments/1thn1l8/flecktarn_airsoft_rifle_paint_job_lessons_learned/
Similar materials were used the only additional material was scapa tape.

Regarding SSG10 performance - it's had it's spring changed to a rapax 2J and it fires 0.43g BBs at 2.18J/330 fps with hop applied consistently.. like +/- 5 fps consistency. Just in case anybody wonders if it's all looks - no it performs as well.
I recently bought sa-x01 and am looking for inspiration to start modifying it with red dot, flash light, strap/sling… etc .
For anyone who has sa-x01/02, please share your set up😁
My power on my well pro rattler is sitting very consitant at 0.65 joules. Im using a very powerful 11.1 lipo. Ive swapped bucking out for a maple leaf yellow. What's the best option for possibly increasing power and reliability?
