Recommendations for repairing this tile work?
The contractor who installed my outdoor grill did a less than stellar job adding a tile surround and after a few years a big section of tiles separated from the main structure. It looks like they used some construction adhesive to stick a strip of hardibacker down and then tiled over that but the adhesive completely let go. I don’t have any spare tiles and am hoping I can reattach the strip. I have decent DIY skills but need some advice on the best way to repair so it isn’t falling off again in a few years.
