Hey yall, I recently purchased this grow bag online alongside a different replacement order. The other bag has been inoculated and is doing fine, but when I opened this one up I found that it had this mysterious growth on the back that was mostly white with a little bit of green. Hadn’t put anything in there yet so this obviously made me a little suspicious. I already emailed the seller about the possibility of receiving a replacement, but I was also thinking of just getting a second opinion from here.

Hey yall, first time grower here (besides dipping my toe into growing one gourmet species), I inoculated this bag with ochra LC on the 29th of May, and this is the progress as of the first of June. Heard a lot of good things about this strain and its forgiveness towards beginners and, as you can tell, it hasn’t disappointed.

I’m a little proud of myself, but also just curious to get your guys thoughts. Is this a “quick” amount of time to see visible colonization? Most guides put that into 2-4 week margin from what I’ve seen, but this seems eye-openingly quick. On top of that, I’ve got a pretty good idea of what to do going forward in terms of breaking the bag up and initiating fruiting conditions, in fact I have another grow bag and another LC syringe (golden teachers) arriving today so I can have two goes at this. That being said though, is there anything I should keep in mind going forward? I don’t have anything real bougie in terms of growing supplies aside from two basic monotub kits, but I figure that’s all I need.

I’d be grateful for any advice/thoughts since this is my first time, peace! ✌️

Just looking for a potential ID on this mushroom my mother found in one of her plants. I found it kind of striking visually so it’d be cool to know the species!
