hello everyone! I'm currently entering first year of senior high school and I'm overthinking the path i should take because i really want to pursue psychology as a bachelor course TvT kinakabahan lang ako cause andaming nagsasabi na mahihirapan ka maghanap ng work when you take psychology as your course.
can you guys give opinion to this pathway i researched recently?
4 years - BS Psychology
-- take and pass National Medical Admission Test (NMAT)
-- apply for any College of Medicine
BS Psychology Universities: UP Diliman, OLFU Lagro, FEU NRMF Fairview, NU Fairview, PUP Manila, UP Manila, PNU Manila, PLM Intramuros
4 years - Medical School: Graduate with Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
-- do internship (some schools integrate this into the 4‑year MD timeline, others treat it as a separate post‑grad internship year)
-- take and pass Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) of the PRC to become a licensed Medical Doctor.
College of Medicine Universities: OLFU Lagro, FEU NRMF Fairview, UP Manila, PLM Intramuros
4 years - Psychiatry Residency
-- apply for Psychiatry Residency Program in any hospital (that has good environment T>T) then work for 4yrs to train!!
Psychiatry Recidency: DLSU Medical Center, Victoriano Luna Medical Center
TAKE AND PASS PSYCHIATRY BOARD/DIPLOMATE EXAM!!!
