Hey all. Just swapped out my old phone at T-Mobile in the US for a Galaxy S26 Ultra and I'm seeing problems with my messaging app. (I wish I didn't have to change my messenger to...whatever this is.)
Most of my messages imported fine via Smart Switch, all of my contacts made it. But now when I look through my group chats, there are no icons or contact names or even phone numbers that tell me who sent what message. Not even a timestamp apart from the most recent! Not even when I press and hold on a text! Not even a little spacing in between different senders! I try to talk to my classmates and I don't even know which text is theirs! How do I get this fixed? How did Google possibly syndicate this app without making sure it worked?
(Contact names are in the heading. Censored them for the sake of my classmates' privacy; the heading is the only thing edited in the screenshot. All else is exactly as I see it.)
